  Submitting Work
Foreward We are open to receiving articles written by laypersons. If the Lord puts on your heart an article to contribute to the Christian Student Equipper, be sure to contact the Editor prior to authoring the article. All submissions are edited and published in part or in whole at the Editor's discretion in accordance with the vision and ministry purpose of the Equipper.

We can also credit your work, and should your work become a stand-alone article, we can indicate a means of e-mailing you should the reader wish to contact you.

Keep in mind the following structure when crafting your article:

  • Break the article down into subsections. The style of the Equipper is to have each subsection as a "mini article" of 4-5 paragraphs, ideally. We can handle the HTML coding for you, or you can re-edit a current article. We use an Index for the subsections. The idea is for people to be able to home in on a subsection and get a lot out of it without reading the entire article. The goal here is - as scripture indicates - to be "quick and powerful" since we are dealing with God's Word!
  • Keep the content exciting. Use examples. Give the subsections catchy titles that directly convey the point. Impact is important, and inspiration is even more important. The goal is for the reader to read the article or its subsections and be able to quickly absorb the information and immediately be able to apply the information.
  • Use bullet points whenever possible. Organize information. If you need to use an HTML table for reasons of comparing information, we can assist you in that.
  • The material has to be "fresh manna" - i.e. fresh out of the bread ovens of God. Fresh bread indicates what the Lord has been speaking into your heart and your life. Fresh revelation. Theology and doctrine do have its place on the Equipper but dead-dry and lifeless articles that are not life-giving are rejected by the Equipper.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accommodate the sermons of pastors as Equipper articles. There are many web resources or church home pages where excellent sermons are available for your review.
  • Indicate the age range that your article targets. The Christian Student Equipper is for students of any age, but we generaly gear to the 15-45 crowd. There are pastors aound the world obviously exceeding that age range that benefit from Equipper material.
  • Make them fun to read!

The Editor of the Christian Student Equipper reserves the right to add, modify, edit and correct all submitted materials, including their posting and their removal from the Christian Student Equipper.
