The HIGHLANDER Sword Shopper's Guide
EDITOR'S CHOICE Awards
Many websites have come and gone. We've stayed around because the HSG is still a small part in our greater educational effort to teach people about authenticity concerning period arms and armor over at Sword Forum International.
But a lot of the websites we had once awarded have vanished off the Internet. One website's operator stated she no longer had any desire to maintain and support her site.
Since the film Highlander: Endgame, many faithful to the first film lost interest in the Highlander franchise altogether, which is sad, because in wanting to shift the focus to Duncan MacLeod, the fine folks and writers of Daviz Panzer Productions did not take into account that for many around the world Connor MacLeod is the one and only, and the story truly ended with that first film.
The following web sites are winners of the HSG (The
HIGHLANDER Sword Shopper's Guide) Editor's Choice award for
various categories. These webmasters and webauthors have dedicated much
time, love and passion in their devotion to Highlander in the creation of
such websites. It was websites of spirits like these that first got me
started, inspired, and desiring more of Highlander. To them we owe our
thanks and wish them greater blessings in their future endeavors and
pioneering in the Highlander Universe!
